Question, Empress Shan: Would you agree that most if not all 2nd and 3rd persons pronouns are used when the person(s) referred to is/are also Rasta? In my overstanding I and I originates from the idea of "I and the comunity and oneness of/with RastafarI", so, I would be surprised if the pronouns would be used to talk about people outside of the Rasta comunity.

Mek mi aks ya dis in Patwa. :) Mi a wonder if da word "wichpaat" or di shorter "whichaat" originated in di fact that Jamieka is split into parishes. Meaning that "whichaat" came from "whichpaat a mi Island ya come fram?" Wha ya tink? Greetings from Switzerland! Miss Jamieka nuf! Haffi get back de soon!

As Jamaican who visited Tokyo for 4 days I can confirm they were super nice to me. It was my first and only time in Japan, and I met a gorgeous girl within 2 hours and spent the next 2 and half days with her. Crazy how open they were. Even the cops were nice enough to take pictures with me.

In my country, Costa Rica, the official language is Spanish. However, in the province of Limón which is located on the caribbean coast of the country, over 80% of the population is black...English and Patois (also called Mekatelyu by many people from Limón) are spoken in that region, since they descend from Jamaicans that immigrated in the beginning of the 1870 decade. Culture, food, music, vibes are pretty similar to Jamaican manifestations. By the way, we also use the word "salado" (salty) as a costarican slang for someone who has bad luck.
